Example tested on Linux and FreeBSD:
pkgspider install snort
will install pcre-5.0, snortrules-2_3 and snort-2.3.0
Then run: snort -c /etc/snort/conf/snort.conf and you have your IDS running.

pkgspider.dynalias.org gproftpd.dynup.net and mange.dynup.net is up.
Had to reboot the modem / change nics to get a new ip and drop the login code for 10.0.0.6.
Massive scans coming from that login server but good considering all the windows hosts that are infected in the ISP’s net.
